How can I manually add records?

Open the Timeline and use the date toolbar to jump to the day you want — past or future.

Once you’re on that day, tap the “+” button in the lower-right corner to add a record for it. If it’s today you want to add to, you can skip the toolbar altogether and just use the “today” tab.

How does Google Calendar sync work?

Once you set up Google Calendar sync, it only ever goes one way: your Swipetimes records get pushed to the calendar, but anything you change directly in the calendar is never synced back.

What happens to my time balance during vacation or illness?

Your time balance is the running difference between what you were expected to work and what you actually tracked, so a day with a target time you couldn’t meet would normally pull it down.

Why does my time balance show a negative amount right after I set up my daily target?

This is almost always caused by the “Balance since” start date your time balance calculation runs from — if it’s set further back than you expect, days before you actually started tracking with a target get counted against you.

How does rounding work? Does it round the start and end time?

No — rounding never touches your actual start or end time, only the tracked duration that gets rounded to your chosen interval.

How can I get rid of the demo data?

Why can't I find my backups on Google Drive?

Can I start tracking a project from the home screen launcher?

A widget on your home screen, which lets you pick from any project each time you start tracking.
An app shortcut, tied to one specific project — handy if there’s a single project you start most often and want to skip the picker entirely.

Why can't I change a record's start and end time, only its duration?
