Automation

Once automation is set up, Swipetimes can start and stop tracking on its own, without you opening the app. There are four ways to trigger it:

• NFC — set up an NFC tag with a project’s information, then just hold your phone against the tag.
• Wi-Fi automation — connecting to or disconnecting from a Wi-Fi network can start or stop tracking.
• Bluetooth automation — the same idea, triggered by connecting to or disconnecting from a Bluetooth device.
• Location — entering or leaving a defined area triggers tracking automatically.
